Our Story
Welcome to our training company!
Founded by CEO Steve Lowton in 2024, Steve brings 37 years of both military and police experience. Having retired from the Police in 2023, Steve decided to use his 37 years experience, knowledge and qualifications, to establish Yorksure CPR. Steve has attended numerous first aid courses during his career, some of which were quite poor and of little use or interest.
During his time working between Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and delivering freelance first aid courses, Steve and Andy met by chance and established that they had know each other for many years but had never met! This was during their police service. Often Steve would have to cross border from Greater Manchester into Yorkshire to progress investigations and often be part of mutual support. Andy had been a regular liaison in West Yorkshire police for Steve. Andy shares Steve's vision and passion regarding first aid training and they both have the same ethos - The main issue when dealing with any first aid or emergency situation is first of all dealing with the shock and trauma of what is happening, then having the ability to compose oneself and switch on to the task in hand!
Attending a first aid course is just the beginning; the real question is whether you can stay composed when adversity strikes. With a focus on engaging and practical training, we empower you to navigate emergencies confidently, preparing you to deal with the worst before help arrives.
This ethos lead to the birth of Yorksure CPR.
